Alaina Cardamone is the Administrative Support Associate for the Program in Maritime Studies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has experience in administrative support, event coordination, and public engagement within academic and museum settings. Before joining ECU, she worked as an Event Services Office Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she managed event logistics, communications, and customer service. She also interned with the Jamestown Rediscovery Foundation as a Public Archaeology Intern, engaging visitors with archaeological interpretation and material culture. Her background in history, public history, and art history informs her work in supporting research and academic programs.
